The Urbana Visioning Committee continues to host the annual Urbana Sweet Corn Days festival! Information on previous and upcoming can be found here:

DSC_0102revThe Urbana Visioning Committee was founded in June, 2013 by the City of Urbana. The committee was formed to pursue community beautification projects and develop ways to promote healthier lifestyles.

The Visioning Committee is dedicated to improving the future of Urbana, Iowa. Our mission is to provide individuals and families with healthier and safer alternatives for outdoor recreation through the addition of sidewalks and trails; and in creating a more environmentally-friendly atmosphere by planting trees, shrubs, and flowers throughout the community.

P4290273revWe are devoted to increasing community pride and supporting active and healthy lifestyles for future generations. The Visioning Committee was selected to participate in the 2014 Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program in December 2013. A special thank you to Trees Forever, Alliant Energy, Benton Community Foundation, Urbana Fire Department, Urbana City Council, CPU Cub Scout Pack 55, Mitch McDonough and Star Equipment, Urbana Legion and Lion’s groups, and all the families in the community that came out to support this community event!
