Chief’s Message
On behalf of the Urbana Police Department, I would like to welcome you to our official website page. I am proud to work in Urbana and alongside the dedicated officers of our department.
This devotion, both in services we provide and the belief that people are our most valuable resource, has been the basis for our organization’s successes. As we strive to fortify the foundation in policing and continue to develop relationships with the community, other City departments, and outside agencies, we will continually strive to enhance the safety, security, and our alliances in the years to come.
We have a professional organization that is filled with well trained employees who truly care about their jobs and the community that we serve and accept the tremendous responsibility entrusted to us as public servants. The officers of the Urbana Police Department stand ready to protect the community at any hour of the day or night.
